Dana Young to head AALPI committee regarding Public Record Access at Arizona Superior Courts & Justice Courts. The Arizona Superior Court is having monthly meetings to discuss and make decisions on what the new policies will be regarding public access to records and what personal identifiers will be removed from court case files prior to public viewing. This is in response to new Federal law that requires each state to determine how they will interpret and enforce the new law. AALPI is for personal identifiers to remain in the case files, since that is how we as PI's determine if a criminal record actually belongs to the person we are investigating or background screening. AALPI also has concerns in the area of what courts are charging as " research fees" , and the inconsistancesy in how these charges are applied.
